Easy Gamerscore: The Four Quickest Game Completions From the latest Xbox Sales

By Sean Carey,
Unfortunately, there aren't many titles to go for in terms of quick completions from this week's Xbox One and Xbox 360 sales. We've managed to find four games can be considered quick and easy completions as determined by their TA ratios — all of which are Xbox One releases, no 360 titles this week. As always, we have linked to each game's hub where you can find achievement lists, guides and a walkthrough if one's been written. We have also linked you directly to the Microsoft Store where you can buy any of these titles.

Quickest Xbox Game Completions from the latest Sales

Game Completion Time Average Discount Store Links
Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition 1-2 hours 70% View
Tacoma 1-2 hours 75% View
Pixel Gladiator 1-2 hours 40% View
Cel Damage HD 2-3 hours 75% View
Another World E3 Screen 9

First on our list is the classic Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition with its 12 achievements worth 1000 Gamerscore. Nine of those achievements are obtained just by playing through the story; the rest shouldn't be too much trouble to grab either. We do have plenty of individual achievement guides if you do get stuck, and we also have a highly-rated walkthrough that should have you complete the game in around 1-2 hours. Another World is currently on sale for the bargain price of $2.39, definitely a worthy pick up if you're after a half-decent platformer and some easy Gamerscore.

Tacoma is a regular feature on our quick completion lists. The sci-fi adventure game has a total of 12 achievements worth 1000 Gamerscore — all of which are pretty straightforward to crack. We have another well-received walkthrough for Tacoma with a huge 373 likes, and if you follow it, the game should take you around 1-3 hours to complete — that's if you want to skip the story entirely and just grab the achievements. Speaking from my own experience with Tacoma, the plot didn't immediately grab me, so I fired up the walkthrough and quickly completed the game, your mileage may vary, however. Tacoma is on sale for $5, but hold off from buying it if you're an Xbox Game Pass subscriber as it's included for both console and Xbox Game Pass for PC.

Pixel Gladiator Achievements

Pixel Gladiator isn't owned by many on TA, so we can't say for certain that it's a quick completion. Still, the 134 TA'ers that have completed the strategy/tower defence title have estimated that it's taken them around 1-2 hours. The game has 10 achievements worth 1000 Gamerscore, and they all look easy enough to grab. We don't have a walkthrough, but we do have some individual achievement guides that should help you through some of the trickier achievements. Pixel Gladiator will set you back the grand total of $4.19.

*EDIT* - According to TA user Domain the guides on site for Pixel Gladiator are in fact for an old build of the game, and the game now takes longer to complete. Bare that in mind before starting this one.

Our final game on this list is the 2016 remake, Cel Damage HD with its 16 achievements worth 1000Gs. Estimated completion time is around 2-3 hours for the combat-racing game, and we have a great walkthrough to help you through the achievement list. Cel Damage HD is also the cheapest game on this week's list coming in at just $2.24 — a cracking price for a fun game and some easy Gamerscore.

Rememoried

That's your lot for quick completions this week. Sadly, we didn't see the likes of Rememoried feature in the sales. Last week a TA member found an exploit that lets you grab all achievements from the game in around 88 seconds — making it one of the fastest game completions ever. Rememoried is currently listed at $15; however, it has been previously been on sale for around $3 — unfortunately, not this week.

As always, let us know if you'll be picking up any of these titles, your thoughts on our games listed above and if you know of any others from this week's sales that could be considered quick and easy completions.
