The New Doom Eternal Trailer Shows Earth in the Middle of a Demonic Invasion

By Sean Carey,
Doom Eternal is just a couple of short months away, and Bethesda has added more fuel to the hype train with a new trailer which showcases more of the Doom Slayer and some of that fantastic Doom gameplay we all know and love.

The trailer reveals a little more about the game's narrative, and we get to see Earth in the midst of a demonic invasion, before jumping into some fast-paced, gory gunplay. There are a few new enemies shown in the video too, including the "arch-enemy of the slayer" the Doomhunter and another called, The Marauder, as well as few familiar demonic faces such as Cacodemons and Mancubuses. There's also a glimpse of the new grappling hook and the arm blade being used for those satisfyingly brutal Glory Kills.

Doom Eternal launches on March 20. For more on the game including information on the game's campaign, the changes to multiplayer and the DLC for Doom Eternal, check out our "Everything We Know About Doom Eternal" article.
