The acclaimed indie rogue-like Children of Morta is now available in Xbox Game Pass for console and Xbox Game Pass for PC. As it's a Play Anywhere title, the Children of Morta Achievements list is shared across both platforms, as is your in-game progression.

Children of Morta

Description: Children of Morta is a story-driven action RPG game about an extraordinary family of heroes. Lead the Bergons, with all their flaws and virtues, against the forthcoming Corruption. Will you be able to sacrifice everything to save the ones you care for?
Size: 1.2GB
Children of Morta flew under the radar a bit at the tail end of last year, but by all accounts it is a very accomplished hack-and-slash with rogue-like elements. The game has an impressive 82 rating on Metacritic for its PC version from 46 critics. As with Dead Cells before it, Children of Morta might suffer from the general fatigue felt by those who have seen too much pixel art and heard "rogue-like" too often, but by all accounts this is also an accomplished and surprisingly deep experience for those able to give it the time. Perhaps now that it is available at no additional cost for those with an Xbox Game Pass subscription, Children of Morta can start to enjoy a more widespread success as Dead Cells managed before it.

In other news, Tekken 7 has now hit Xbox Game Pass for Console, as revealed a few days back. This Tekken entry is one of the easier fighting games to blast through achievements-wise, so be sure to check out the Tekken 7 achievement list and our community's breezy Tekken 7 walkthrough for guidance. Tekken is a 46.5GB download, so be prepared to make some space.
