E3 2011: Kinect Disneyland Adventure Announced

By Rebecca Smith, 7 years ago
Microsoft has announced a new collaboration with Disney, resulting in a new IP called Kinect Disneyland Adventures. The game has faithfully recreated the entire Disneyland Park for exploration in the game. Players can hang out with their favourite Disney characters, and create their own souvenirs to be shared on Kinectshare.com.

Peter Pan's Flight is one of the mini games on offer. Up to two players can fly through a scene that looks like it is taken straight out of the Peter Pan movie, all whilst collecting coins and dodging falling rocks until reaching Captain Hook's ship.

Footage was also shown of a game based in the world of Alice in Wonderland. Players fly through the doors to Wonderland, where they meet Alice and the Queen playing a round of croquet. The players are then trapped inside the croquet balls as they hurtle along a course whilst trying to pass in between the gates and avoiding the cards.

Here's the official trailer:

Kinect Disneyland Adventures will be available this holiday season.
