There's Double Rewards across racing modes in GTA Online this week

By Heidi Nicholas,
Rockstar's latest newswire shows that this week there's double rewards to be had in GTA Online, on stunt races, series races, time trials and business battles, as well as discounts across a range of customisation items, garages and vehicles.

Double rewards

There's 2X GTA$ and RP on all Rockstar created Stunt Races, Southern San Andreas Super Sport Series Races, and RC Time Trials. There's also double GTA$ and RP on Business Battles, until February 12th. Along with the usual cash, RP and clothing dished out for spinning the Lucky Wheel, there's also a new top prize: the Grotti Furia supercar. Finally, there's a range of discounts for customisation items, garages and vehicles.

  • 35% off the Principe Deveste Eight, Annis S80RR, Annis RE-7B, Truffade Thrax, and Grotti Itali GTO
  • 40% off the Progen GP1, Emperor ETR1, Vapid GB200, Declasse Hotring Sabre, and Obey Omnis

  • 40% off Liveries, Brakes & Handling, Engine Upgrades, Turbo, Transmission, and Suspension

  • 35% off all garages
Players can still get GTA$1,000,000 just for playing GTA Online this week, as part of Rockstar's recent giveaways to celebrate the fact that both GTA Online and Red Dead Online broke player number records. All you have to do to get 1 million GTA$ for free is log in before February 12th. Red Dead Online's bonuses were slightly less impressive; consisting of the Gunslingers Cache, a free Bounty Hunter License, and 25 Bolas and 25 Tracking Arrows. Rockstar also hinted at what's next for GTA Online, saying that there's "still much more to come in 2020. Next up for GTA Online is the addition of an open wheel racing series featuring all new vehicle types – with tense, high speed, track-based racing where tight cornering, tactical tire choices and perfectly timed pit stops make every second count. Plus, expect more big updates and a few surprises as we move forward into the year." We'll keep you posted.

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
