The Kingdom Hearts back catalogue releases tomorrow, according to the Microsoft store page

By Heidi Nicholas,
The Kingdom Hearts back catalogue recently appeared on the Microsoft store. The page was quickly removed, but not before a February 18th release date was spotted. Earlier today, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and KINGDOM HEARTS - HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX were spotted on the New Zealand Microsoft store, where the games are apparently already out. The UK and US pages also suggest a February 18th release date.

KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue Achievements

The prices aren't up as yet, but KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is up for NZ$104.90 on the New Zealand site, with KINGDOM HEARTS - HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX at NZ$69.90, so the games could be somewhere between $70 and $60 respectively. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 is made up of a compilation of three Kingdom Hearts experiences, and is listed on the store page as having 4K Ultra HD capabilities and a file size of around 28.79 GB. It includes:

  • Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover (movie); an HD version of the movie about the Foretellers
  • Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD, in which Sora and Riku undergo the Mark of Mystery exam and prepare for Master Xehanort's return.
KINGDOM HEARTS - HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX is also listed on the store page as having 4K Ultra HD capabilities, with a file size of 57.29 GB. It includes:

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
