E3 2011: Your Shape: FE 2012 Announced [UPDATED]

By Michelle Balsan,
Ubisoft announced at their E3 press conference that a sequel to their Kinect fitness title, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved, is currently in development.

Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012 was redone with user feedback in mind and, as such, is more user friendly. It also includes over 90 hours of improved and new content. The game's tracking ability has also been improved with brand new floor movements. The feedback system is better, too, as your coach will now praise your good work in addition to telling you what you're doing wrong.

Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012 will include a large variety of workout routines, a broad selection of classes, games such as jump rope, and a new "Run the World" feature, which will allow players to run through the virtual streets of New York, Paris, or London. Players can also visit the Your Shape Center to challenge their friends and see how they rank on a global leaderboard.

Ubisoft has stated that it is their goal to see 1 billion calories burned through the use of Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2 by the end of 2012. You'll have your opportunity to contribute to the cause when the game launches in November of 2011.
