The game features stories that branch off in different directions with five playable characters to choose from.

According to the World of Horror Steam page, the Early Access version "offers 12 mysteries to solve with 200 encounterable events." A standard playthrough consisting of five randomised mysteries can take between 90 minutes and four hours to complete, depending on playstyle. The developer, Panstasz plans for the game to be in Early Access for at least six months.
