E3 2011: Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 Announced

Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox, took to the stage during Ubisoft's E3 press conference to announce that Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 is currently in development.

Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 takes place during World War II and features a cooperative mode for up to four players as well as an extensive competitive multiplayer mode. Players will face an "experimental Nazi army conceived in secret by the Third Reich".

Adam Novickas, U.S. director of marketing at Microsoft, explained his feelings on the newest Brothers in Arms title.
The Brothers in Arms franchise has been renowned for its gritty direction that has dropped players into the middle of World War II. With Brothers in Arms Furious 4, Gearbox brings the action to a whole new level filled with unexpected twists and over-the-top battles that are sure to please new players and fans alike.Check out the debut trailer, which was released yesterday.

Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 is currently slated for release at some point in 2012.
