Xbox Live Free Play Days: The Division 2, Just Cause 4 and Dragon Ball FighterZ

By Heidi Nicholas,
This week's Xbox Live Free Play Days include third person shooters The Division 2 and Just Cause 4, and fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ. All three are presumably free to play until Monday, and are available to Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.

DRAGON BALL FIGHTERZ

Dragon Ball FighterZ

Description: DRAGON BALL FighterZ is born from what makes the DRAGON BALL series so loved and famous: endless spectacular fights with its all-powerful fighters.

Partnering with Arc System Works, DRAGON BALL FighterZ maximizes high end Anime graphics and brings easy to learn but difficult to master fighting gameplay.

And on top of many different online features, experience a never-seen-before scenario in the Story Mode!
Size: 5.3GB
Since this one has an estimated completion time of over 200 hours, it isn't one to be finished in a weekend — but these Free Play Days should still be enough time to figure out whether it's your thing. The game's currently at a sizeable discount in several regions. It's at $14.99/£12.49/€17.49 in the US, UK and Europe, so if you try it out over the free play days and decide you're ready to sink 200+ hours in it, you could make use of those discounts.

Just Cause 4

Just Cause 4 Achievements

Description: Welcome to Solís, a huge South American world home of conflict, oppression and extreme weather conditions. Just Cause 4 sees rogue agent Rico Rodriguez land in Solís to hunt down the truth about his past, at any cost. Strap into your wingsuit, equip your fully customizable grappling hook, and get ready to bring the thunder!
Size: 40.5GB
Xbox Game Pass players have already had a chance to try Just Cause 4; it's been in the service for a while, but is actually set to leave Xbox Game Pass soon along with a number of other titles. If you're not a subscriber to the service, however, these free play days are a good chance to try before you buy. Like the other two games in this list, this title looks as though you could sink a good chunk of your time into it; it's got an estimated completion time of around 60-80 hours.

Tom Clancy's The Division® 2

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 Achievements

Description: The fate of the free world is on the line in Tom Clancy’s The Division® 2.

Lead a team of elite agents into a post-pandemic Washington, DC, to restore order and prevent the collapse of the city.
Size: 52.6GB
The Division 2's currently at a hefty discount in multiple regions: in the UK and US, for instance, it's priced at £8.99 and $2.99 respectively. If you'd still prefer to try it out for free, however, now would be the perfect time to do so; it's free to play from today until Monday, March 2nd. Ubisoft just recently released the game's third episode as The Hunt DLC, which adds two new achievements. It's a free DLC, so if you try The Division 2 out over the free play days and decide you like it, you could get it while it's on discount and have immediate access to the newest DLC.

Xbox Live Free Play Days should be going live later today. Ubisoft has confirmed how long The Division 2 will be free to play. The free to play titles are usually available for the whole weekend, so the other two titles, Just Cause 4 and Dragon Ball FighterZ, should also be available until March 2nd.

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
