Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break gets a Summer release date

By Heidi Nicholas,
ACE Team and Modus Games have announced that their tower defence title Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break will release at the beginning of Summer, on June 2nd.

"Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break is competitive tower defense and arcade action rolled up with ACE Team's quirky, Monty Python-esque humor into one giant, creative game for the ages. Jump into the expansive, gut-busting story for an eclectic adventure featuring bizarre and irreverent takes on legendary characters, or for the first time, create and share your own levels to compete with friends and strangers online in a real-time mix of hectic tower defense and epic boulder-racing arcade action."

The devs announced the news with a short video about the history of ACE Team, which also gives us a look at some of the customisation options available in the game, such as the choice of paint for your boulder and the sigil for your banner. The game has its own in-built editor for players to create their own levels, as well as multiplayer for up to four players online or split-screen for two, where each player has to build up their own defences before their opponent rolls in to crush them. There's six game modes, including Boulder Avalanche, Humpty-Dumpty, and Time Trials, as well as a campaign mode with figures such as Caesar, Krampus, and the Spaghetti Monster. The game will also have over 20 boulders, including a wheel of cheese and Humpty-Dumpty himself.

Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break will release on June 2nd.

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
