Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks gives members extra in-game content

By Sam Quirke,
Xbox have just announced Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks, a new feature of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription that gives members additional in-game content and DLC as well as the vast library of games already on offer.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perks

The first of these Perks arrive today, and more will be coming each month. Here's what you can get from today:

  • Phantasy Star Online 2: Players will get a special content bundle with unique emotes, an in-game Xbox jacket, a gold ticket Mission Pass (which will unlock more cosmetics from the Mission Pass) and in-game currency. This is only available in the US and Canada.
  • World of Tanks: Mercenaries: It's not clear yet what exactly the Perk is giving players in this free-to-play game, beyond "three powerful tanks".
  • Sea of Thieves: Players will get free Ancestral Sails, Figurehead, Hull and Flag – a set inspired by Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
  • SMITE: The Perk bundle comes with five Gods, special character skins and voice packs. Again, it's not entirely clear about the details of the pack from the blog post.
Players will be able to their Perks in the Xbox Game Pass mobile app, via the Xbox Game Pass tab on console, and in the Xbox (Beta) app on PC.
