Diamonds are back in GTA Online

By Heidi Nicholas,
It's been noted by fans for some time that there weren't actually any diamonds in the Diamond Casino and Resort in GTA V. It seemed this had been sorted when Rockstar added the gems into the game earlier this year. However, these soon proved not to be a permanent addition, and were quietly removed not long afterwards. Since then, players have been wondering if and when the diamonds might return. Now, Rockstar has confirmed that there are once again a cache of diamonds for the taking in the Diamond Casino and Resort — although again they haven't confirmed how long these will be around for.

GTA Online

From today, March 19th, until March 25th, players can also earn double rewards in King of the Hill, Casino Freemode, and Work Missions. Rockstar are also making the the Street Crimes Icons Tees, available in black and white, free for any players who jump into GTA Online this week. Plus, this week's top prize at the Lucky Wheel in the Diamond Casino and Resort is the Dewbauchee JB 700W, available until March 25th. Rockstar is also rolling out a new range of discounts:

  • 25% off Arcade Properties, Arcade Customisations and Extras, and Casino Heist Practice Equipment
  • 35% off Master Penthouse and Master Penthouse Customisations, the Progen Emerus, and the Truffade Nero
  • 40% off the Nagasaki Buzzard
  • 50% off Casino Penthouse Decorations
Lastly, players who link their Twitch Prime accounts with the Rockstar Social Club will get an extra 10% off those discounts, as well as a free Pixel Pete's Arcade in Paleto Bay, and 80% off the Pegassi Tempesta and Vapid FMJ supercars.

As for Rockstar's other online giant; there's a new Featured Series for Red Dead Online, along with new bonuses and Showmode variations. It seems Rockstar has a few plans for both Red Dead Online and GTA Online in the next few weeks, and we'll keep you posted.

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
