The latest patch for The Division 2 introduces gameplay changes to Seasonal Manhunts

By Heidi Nicholas,
The most recent patch for The Division 2 introduces some new gameplay changes, specifically to Seasonal Manhunt, along with a range of balancing changes and bug fixes.

Warlords of New York DLC The Division 2

In the patch notes, the devs layout the new gameplay changes for Seasonal Manhunts. For starters, progress is now allowed for Normal difficulty and above. A button has been added to the Manhunt UI allowing players to reset and replay the Manhunt: they specify that this just resets the progress, not the Global Difficulty. On the other hand, this also means that changing the Global Difficulty will no longer reset the Seasonal Manhunt: this can only be done via the UI.

There's an increased drop chance for the Coyote's Mask on higher difficulties. The devs are aware that some players reached Season Rank 35 without getting the mask, and they're working on sorting this out. The Public Execution, Settlement Blockade and Propaganda Broadcast Open World Activities are also getting better quality rewards as part of the patch. Balance changes, meanwhile, are reducing NPC damage for all difficulties, as well as NPC health and armour for "group scaling" — aside from enemies at Heroic and Legendary difficulties, which will instead have increased health and armour.

The patch also includes adjustments for Black Tusk, PvP balance changes, and more, including a range of bug fixes for missing dialogue, progress resets, skipped rewards, and more. You can read the full patch notes here.

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
