Ninja Theory clarifies Bleeding Edge "Fiddy" achievement description — working on a fix

By Sean Carey,
The bugged Fiddy achievement in Bleeding Edge is still not unlocking for some players after a recent patch was pushed live. Ninja Theory has now provided an update saying that the team is working on the achievement's tracking issues and that its description is incorrect.

As many of you rightly pointed out, progress towards unlocking the achievement is only counted if you make a killing blow, not a kill. The Bleeding Edge team said, "To clarify for all our players - the "Fiddy" achievement is for killing blows, not kills (which are killing blows + assists)." The team will be updating the in-game text to clarify further.

Although many players are managing to unlock the achievement, it's still causing a headache for some. We finally managed to unlock the achievement last night by letting the post-match timer count down entirely, and by not exiting the game at any point. It should be noted that our progress bar didn't update until the achievement unlocked. This method may work for you until Ninja Theory comes up with a permanent fix.

Ninja Theory has also announced a special Sea of Thieves of crossover. If you play Bleeding Edge from April 1st to the 7th you'll get a free "Gold Boarder" hoverboard. You'll find the cosmetic item in your Workshop.
