Displayed on the home screen is a new button that allows users to donate to the CDC Foundation using Microsoft Rewards Points.Microsoft Rewards Points can be earned via a number of different ways. Completing Xbox Game Pass Quests, earning achievements and using Bing to complete online searches are just a few of the methods players can earn points. These points can be redeemed for things like Xbox gift cards or can be used to make donations to charity. The latest effort allows Xbox gamers to easily donate to the CDC Foundation. Xbox said in a Wire post,"If you are not already a Microsoft Rewards member, sign up for free through the Microsoft Rewards app on your Xbox One or online at microsoftrewards.com and earn points simply by playing games on your Xbox. Then donate your Rewards points to the CDC Foundation. Hit the CDC Foundation button on the Xbox One dash to tell Microsoft you want to donate your Rewards points to the CDC Foundation, then Microsoft will match your donation one-to-one. "Microsoft has also set up a limited time "Do Your Part From Home" punch card that can earn you 2000 Rewards Points by completing a few simple steps from your console. You can find this punch card in the Microsoft Rewards App. For every 1000 Points donated, Microsoft will match that donation with $1. You can sign up to the Microsoft Rewards scheme via the Microsoft Rewards app on your Xbox One or online at the Microsoft Rewards website.Today is the last day you can complete the monthly and weekly Xbox Game Pass Quests before they get swapped out for a new batch.
