Saints Row: The Third Remastered capped to 30 FPS on Xbox One X

By Sean Carey,
Deep Silver announced Saints Row: The Third Remastered yesterday. With it comes a raft of visual improvements, including better lighting, improved character models and upgraded textures. However, one thing that hasn't been improved upon is the frame rate.

As reported by IGN (via VG247), frame rates are locked to 30 FPS regardless of what console you're playing on. If you have an Xbox One X or a PS4 Pro, unfortunately, there are no options to select a different mode that favours FPS over resolution. According to the game's box art over on Amazon, the title will be Xbox One X Enhanced, is playable in 4K and features HDR. PC players will not be locked at 30 FPS and have the option to exceed that limit. Volition has also said that there is no Xbox Series X version planned at this time.

The remaster will also include all of the original DLCs from the first game released back in 2011. Saints Row: The Third Remastered launches on May 22nd.
