E3 2011: Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Screenshots

By Keith Gray, 5 years ago
Earlier in this big E3 week, a new trailer was released to showcase the action we can expect from upcoming air-combat simulation title, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon.

Raining down on us, like a rear gunner with unlimited ammo (purely hypothetical, I know!), Namco Bandai has released supplementary screenshots to demonstrate the game's player HUD and controls close-up.

No less than 25 screenshots follow, so without further ado:

Just in case any of us are lacking a little in the self-importance stakes at the moment, the publisher also released 13 more "exclusive" screenshots:

It's possible that all that sweet artwork will mean you've already had more than your fill of Ace Combat: Assault Horizon for one day; however, assuming that's not the case, you should check out our previous coverage.

First off, we taxi-ed for take-off by unleashing the Close Range Assault system and showing off the game's storyline in February. The fighter pilots and other characters who will feature were introduced to us during March. In May, a large batch of screenshots were released.

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon is due to be released on October 11th in North America, and October 14th in Europe. At present, the title's Australian release date remains unconfirmed.
