The Xbox Project xCloud Preview is now live in three more European countries

By Sean Carey,
The Project xCloud Preview for Android is now available in France, Germany and the Netherlands. Users in eight more countries will also be getting access to the preview next week.

Users from across various forums started reporting yesterday that xCloud was available in France and Germany. Those who had signed up for a chance to access the preview began receiving invites and had started streaming games. Major Nelson followed up with a tweet to say that the service had indeed gone live in France, Germany and the Netherlands, and testers in more countries would be getting access next week.

As per Microsoft's most recent announcement on the xCloud expansion, users in the following countries will be able to access the cloud streaming service as of next week, providing you have signed up and received an invite:
  • Belgium
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • Ireland
  • Italy
  • Norway
  • Spain
  • Sweden
If you still haven't registered, head over to the Project xCloud sign-up page for a chance of receiving an invite. This preview is only available to those running an Android device. An iOS TestFlight preview for the service is currently underway for Apple products but is limited to just 10,000 testers.
