Horror title Scorn is coming to the Xbox Series X and Xbox Game Pass at launch

By Sean Carey,
The first-person horror title Scorn is coming exclusively to the Xbox Series X. The announcement was made during the Inside Xbox 20/20 live stream. Check out the creepy trailer below.

Scorn is being developed by Ebb Software and has already been in development for several years. The game is inspired by the works of H.R. Giger and is "designed around the idea of being thrown into the world".

According to Ebb, the reason for choosing the Xbox Series X was a "simple decision", and was down to the hardware that is "on par with high-end PCs". Unfortunately, the game will not be coming to the Xbox One as per the game's Kickstarter Q&A page. It reads, "We really don't want to spend development time on what would from a technical standpoint (900p resolution, frame rates dipping below 30fps) be a sub-par version of the game and overall not a good experience."

Scorn will also be coming to the Windows Store and is launching into Xbox Game Pass.
