Here's every Xbox Series X game Microsoft revealed during Xbox 20/20

By Sean Carey,
The first Xbox 20/20 stream is now over, and it was filled with game announcements and first-looks at some the new glorious titles coming to the Xbox Series X. A total of 13 games were highlighted and are all coming to the Xbox Series X during the launch window. Here are all 13, in the order, they were shown. Enjoy!

Bright Memory: Infinite

The first game showed off was a new first-person shooter from Playism and FYQD. Bright Memory Infinite 's first chapter actually launched on PC last year, and now the full game is coming to Xbox Series X. The striking gameplay trailer, which you can watch above, showed glimpses of the game's gunplay, as well as some sword combat and its beautiful visuals.

Dirt 5

Dirt 5 is a new entry into the already popular Dirt series from Codemasters. Coming to both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X, the game makes use of the new Smart Delivery feature. The game will run at 4K 60fps on the Xbox Series X, though there's an option for a 120Hz mode for maximum responsiveness. There's a career mode that features a fully-fledged story starring Troy Baker and Nolan North. Online multiplayer will support up to 12 players, while four-player split-screen will keep you and your friends entertained offline.

Scorn

A new horror title inspired by the works of H.R.Giger is coming to the Xbox Series X and is launching into Xbox Game Pass. Scorn has been in development for a number of years now by Serbian studio Ebb Software. The latest trailer features a rather unsettling and nightmarish world. Scorn is a console exclusive to the Xbox Series X and will not come to the Xbox One. The game will also be coming to the Microsoft Store.

Chorus

Next up was a world premiere of Chorus, a sci-fi dogfighting game from Deep Silver. There were glimpses of gameplay shown in between story setup, and this looks like it could be a cracker. It's coming to Xbox Series X in 2021.

Madden NFL 21

Next, Microsoft shined the spotlight onto Madden NFL 21. Little was shown of the game, but EA did confirm it will allow players who purchase the game on Xbox One by the end of this year to get the Series X version for free. However, it seems EA will be running its own promotion to handle this, rather than utilise Microsoft's Smart Delivery feature. More information is sure to emerge at EA Play in June.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2

Microsoft then showed an extensive new trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. The game was already looking very promising, and this new video only made us more excited to try it out. Few new details were shared, but we do know the game will support Microsoft's Smart Delivery feature, meaning anyone who purchases Bloodlines 2 on Xbox One will get the Series X version for free.

Call of the Sea

Call of the Sea is a beautiful new game from indie studio Out of the Blue. The game is set in the 1930s in the south Pacific. You'll play as Norah, a woman who crosses the ocean in search of her missing husband. Out of the Blue says the game was inspired by Soma and Firewatch, among others.

The intriguing game will launch for Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC in "late 2020". It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.

The Ascent

The Ascent is an isometric action-RPG that's set in a futuristic, cyberpunk world from Neon Giant and Curve Digital. Planet Veles is thrown into chaos after the world's biggest corporation, The Ascent Group, that owns everything collapses. The game can be played in both solo and co-op and has you fighting against gangs and hostile organisations to uncover the truth.

The Ascent will be coming to both Xbox One and Xbox Series X later this year and makes use of Smart Delivery.

The Medium

The Medium is the new title from Blair Witch and Layers of Fear developer Bloober Team. As you might expect given the studio's pedigree, the game is a psychological horror, featuring a "dual soundtrack" from both the studio's internal composer and Silent Hill veteran Akira Yamaoka. The game features 4K gameplay, ray tracing, and frame rates of "up to 120 FPS".

The Medium is coming to Xbox Game Pass and will be available on Xbox Series X and PC in "holiday 2020".

Scarlet Nexus

A new RPG franchise by the name of Scarlet Nexus will be coming to Xbox Series X and Xbox One. Developed by Bandai Namco, Scarlet Nexus is set in the future and follows the story of Yuito Sumeragi who has special psycho-kinesis abilities. From the trailer, we saw plenty of hack and slash action and some stunning visuals.

Scarlet Nexus will utilise Smart Delivery and is coming to Xbox Series X and Xbox One.

Second Extinction: Reclaim Earth

Next to be shown off was Second Extinction is an "intense three-player co-op FPS, where you work as a team to take down large groups of savage mutated dinosaurs" who have taken over the planet. The game, which supports frame rates of "up to 120 FPS", is coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X and will utilise Microsoft's Smart Delivery feature. No release window was announced, however.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is an Xbox Series X launch title, Sega confirmed during the Inside Xbox 20/20 stream - and it looks as crazy and as brilliant as we've come to expect from the Yakuza series.

As well as coming to Xbox Series X on "day one" , Like a Dragon will also launch on Xbox One and PC.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Finally, we saw some Assassin's Creed Valhalla footage taken from the Xbox Series X. There wasn't much in terms of gameplay shown in the new trailer, but we did get a look at what the next entry into the Assassin's Creed franchise will look like. The game's creative director, Ashraf Ismail, also announced that Valhalla would utilise Smart Delivery. Assassin's Creed Valhalla will launch in Holiday 2020.
