Cities Skylines and Alan Wake join Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC today

By Heidi Nicholas,
Cities: Skylines and Alan Wake join Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC today, as does Plebby Quest: The Crusades for Xbox Game Pass for PC.

Cities: Skylines was only announced as leaving Xbox Game Pass recently, and so rejoins the service after a space of only a few months. Meanwhile, if you already own the game, Paradox Interactive is making the Green Cities DLC available for free until May 28th 23:59 pm UTC. It'll show up as available in the add-on page for Cities: Skylines in the store tab on your Xbox One. As CheshireMulisha points out, this offer will most likely not count for those who have it through Xbox Game Pass. Unfortunately, if you've already bought the DLC, you're not able to get a refund. The Green Cities DLC — available for $11.69/£9.35 with Xbox Game Pass — adds 350 "new assets" to the game, such as electric vehicles and eco-friendly buildings.

Third-person action game Alan Wake is also available on Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass PC from today. Meanwhile, ID@Xbox title Plebby Quest: The Crusades has also been announced as available for Xbox Game Pass for PC today. Plebby Quest asks players to "survive ambitious rulers dreaming of an empire, outsmart treacherous neighbors longing to burn your spoils, and navigate the religion’s predictably unreasonable demands. You need ask only one question as you build your legacy: Will you burn them, or be burnt?"

Coming up, Minecraft Dungeons will join Xbox Game Pass as a day-one addition when it's released on the 26th of May. We'll be sure to keep you updated with Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC news, and don't forget to check the list of games leaving Xbox Game Pass soon to see if there's any you want to finish before they go.

Thanks to CheshireMulisha for the news tip.

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
