CoD: Modern Warfare and Warzone trailer confirms Captain Price and Season 4 start date

By Sean Carey,
Activision has dropped a new teaser trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone that confirms the new start date for Season 4 in both games and sees Captain Price return as an Operator.

Season 4 officially kicks off on June 3rd. The trailer gives us a brief overview of the story that's somewhat continued on from the end of the Modern Warfare campaign. We then get a brief tease of Captain Price getting ready to parachute down into Verdansk and join the fight.

Captain Price returning as an Operator, with his glorious mutton chops and spiffy bucket hat, was previously hinted at in another teaser released by Activision last week. The company sent out a notification to those with the Call of Duty mobile app before sending out a newsletter that directed players to a Call of Duty website with a cryptic video.

For those who still haven't quite finished the Season 3 battle pass, Activision is offering double XP this weekend across normal level XP, weapon XP and battle pass XP.

It's likely we will see more of what's to come in Season 4 for both games in the coming days. It's probably also a good idea to make some space for the inevitable big update that's sure to drop with the start of Season 4 too.
