By Sean Carey,
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone's upcoming Season 4 has been delayed in a show of solidarity towards protests in the US, following the death of George Floyd.

A statement posted over on the official Call of Duty Twitter reads "now is not the time" and the launches for Modern Warfare/Warzone Season 4 and Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7 will be moved to later dates. "Right now it's time for those speaking up for equality, justice and change to be seen and heard."

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone's fourth season was due to kick off on June 3rd while Call of Duty Mobile's seventh season was also set for this week. No new launch dates for either game's Season has been specified.

EA recently delayed the Madden NFL 21 reveal in support of the Black Lives Matter protests currently ongoing throughout the US. Several other big gaming companies such as Microsoft, PlayStation, Bethesda and more have also expressed their support for the cause. Sony has cancelled its PS5 game reveal that was due to take place this week.
