Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 4 goes live tonight

By Sean Carey,
Season 4 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone will go live tonight or tomorrow June 11th, depending on your timezone. The Season 4 download "is going to be large", so it might be worth clearing some hard drive space.

Infinity Ward says Season 4 content will launch tonight at 11 PM PT. If you're in the Eastern timezone, Season 4 will go live for you on June 11th at 2 AM. For those in the UK, you can expect to see the update at 7 AM BST on June 11th also.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is almost at 200GB on consoles. Senior communications manager for Infinity Ward Ashton Williams said the developer is making "size reductions where we can" and reminds players on console that they can uninstall content packs for modes that they aren't playing. Williams goes on to say that the download size is going to be large, but once installed, it will only take up 4GB of hard drive space.

Infinity Ward recently delayed the start of Season 4 in both games in a show of solidarity towards the Black Lives Matter protests in the US, following the death of George Floyd. The games have since been updated with a Black Lives Matter loading screen.
