Call of Duty: Warzone 200-player battle royale mode could be coming soon

By Sean Carey,
Call of Duty: Warzone could be getting 200-player modes soon as discovered by an eagle-eyed player who spotted the titles of three new game modes in a welcome message for the game.

The in-game menu message was shown to free-to-play users who could access some of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's multiplayer modes thanks to the game's free-to-play weekend. The message details what players can expect from the free multiplayer weekend, but looking carefully, you can see the names of three new modes in one of the images — BR 200, Plunder 200 and BR Juggernaut. So far, the only confirmed game mode out of those three is BR Juggernaut — a twist on the battle royale mode that drops three Juggernaut suits and miniguns into Verdansk for players to collect and wreak havoc.

When Warzone first launched, Infinity Ward revealed it was working on a 200-player version of the battle royale, and the increased player count would be coming sometime in the future.

Season 4 went live in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone last week. Among other additions,
new in-match events were added to Warzone
that radically change up the battle royale mode's mid-game.
