Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed again

By Sean Carey,
Cyberpunk 2077 has suffered another delay. Instead of launching on September 17th, the game has been pushed back to November 19th.

CD Projekt Red said in a statement over on Twitter that the game is finished content and gameplay-wise. "Quests, cutscenes, the skills and items; all the adventures Night City has to offer - it's all there. But with such an abundance of content and complex systems interweaving with each other, we need to properly go through everything, balance game mechanics and fix a lot of bugs."

Cyberpunk 2077 was initially supposed to launch in April but was pushed back until September. When CD Projekt Red announced the first delay in January, it said it needed more time to polish off the game and the game was complete and playable, but more time was needed for playtesting and adding final polish.

Cyberpunk 2077 will now launch on November 19th.
