Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will feature local multiplayer according to PS Store

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time looks like it will feature local multiplayer for up to four players according to the PlayStation Store.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time Multiplayer

Local multiplayer was not mentioned when the game was officially revealed by Activision, but according to the current PlayStation Store listing for the game, the orange bandicoot's next outing will feature "offline multiplayer" for up to four players. At the moment, the Microsoft Store listing has no mention of local multiplayer, so it could be either a mistake on Sony's end or something Activision didn't want to announce just yet.

We aren't quite sure in what capacity multiplayer will feature in the game, but previous mainline entries in the Crash Bandicoot series have all been single-player experiences. Developer Toys for Bob has confirmed that players can play as both Crash and Coco, as well as other characters such as Neo Cortex, so there might some sort of co-op feature, or maybe even a party mode reminiscent of Crash Bash?

Hopefully, we'll hear more on the offline multiplayer feature soon. As soon as we do, we'll update you.
