New ID@Xbox Summer Spotlight series showcases 34 upcoming indie games

By Sean Carey,
Due to various big trade shows such as E3 and Gamescom being cancelled this year, the ID@Xbox team has announced the Summer Spotlight Series — a series of videos showcasing independent games from developers who are a part of the ID@Xbox program.

The ID@Xbox team started showcasing its upcoming indie titles via these "spotlight" videos back in April after this year's Games Developer Conference was cancelled. Six new videos featuring updates on a total of 34 games have been published over on the ID@Xbox YouTube channel.

The first video embedded above contains more on SkateBIRD, Spellbreak, The Falconeer, The Forgotten City, Trash Sailors, Call of the Sea, Dead Static Drive and Welcome To Elk.

The ID@Xbox program has made more than $1.4 billion in digital revenue since the indie development program first launched seven years ago back in 2013. Currently, over 3,400 independent studios are all making games under the ID@Xbox banner.
