Jungle Awakens is the first of two planned DLCs for the game. The DLC adds three new story missions for players to tackle, a bunch of new weapons, armors, artifacts and some new mobs. Players will have to battle it out against the new Leapleaf and Whisperer mobs before taking on a boss known as the Jungle Abomination.

The free update, that's coming alongside the launch of Jungle Awakens, adds a new dungeon called the Lost Temple, some new gear and makes a few balance changes.

As of yet, we don't know if the Jungle Awakens DLC or the free update will add any new achievements to the game. As soon as we pick up a list, we'll be sure to let you know.

Microsoft hasn't revealed the standalone price of the DLC. Those with the Minecraft Dungeon Hero Edition will get access to Jungle Awakens on July 1st. Minecraft Dungeons second DLC Creeping Winter will launch at some point later this year.
