Fallout 76 joins Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC next week

By Heidi Nicholas,
Xbox has now announced several more games which will arrive for Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC this month. Soulcalibur VI and Out of the Park Baseball 21 were announced earlier today: the first for consoles, the second for PC, but the Xbox team has now confirmed Fallout 76 will join Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC, while CrossCode will arrive just for consoles.

Xbox Game Pass July

Fallout 76 is Bethesda’s online multiplayer RPG set in the Fallout universe. It launched to a rocky start — made rockier still by the announcement of the Fallout 1st premium membership — but Bethesda has continued to add to the game with the long-awaited addition of NPCs and a reputation system with the Wastelanders update. The game's first season also recently kicked off, with the addition of public teams. Fallout 76 joins Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC on July 9th.

CrossCode, meanwhile, is a "retro action RPG" according to Xbox's announcement, with over 30 boss fights, over 120 enemy types, and dungeons and puzzles galore. CrossCode also joins Xbox Game Pass on July 9th.

That's four titles already announced for Xbox Game Pass this month. Four more titles are set to leave soon, so be sure to check that list to make sure you can finish them before they do. What do you think? Will you be playing Fallout 76 when it comes to Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC?

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
