Shadows of the Damned possibly delisted from the Microsoft Store

By Sean Carey,
It seems that Shadows of the Damned has been delisted from the Microsoft Store and Xbox Marketplace.

At the moment, we don't know why the backwards compatible Xbox 360 horror game has been removed from the Store. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the game was removed at publisher EA's request due to publishing rights for the game expiring and transferring back to the developer, Grasshopper Manufacture. However, the game is still playable via EA Access. It's worth pointing out that the delisting could also be a mistake on Microsoft's end.

Shadows of the Damned originally launched back in 2011. Players take on the role of a Demon Hunter by the name of Garcia Hotspur who must rescue his love by defeating the armies of darkness. The game saw generally favourable reviews from both players and critics. Here on TA, the game sits with a 3.87/5 community rating.

We have reached out to EA for further information and will update you if we hear anything back.
