Drake Hollow delayed indefinitely — won't launch into Xbox Game Pass on July 17th

By Sean Carey,
The upcoming Xbox Game Pass title Drake Hollow has been delayed and will no longer launch on Xbox One, Windows or Steam on July 17th.

Studio director for The Molasses Flood, Forrest Dowling, announced over on Twitter that the game will not meet the planned release date due to "reasons that are technical, boring, complicated to explain and all under NDA anyway". The tweet continues, "We're working hard to resolve them so we can launch as soon as possible." Unfortunately, no new launch date has been given.

When Drake Hollow eventually gets released, the game will be coming to Xbox Game Pass as a day one addition. In the game, players need to look after and defend vegetable-like creatures called Drakes from The Feral. Drakes need to be watered, fed and need a place to sleep, and the player will have to build things like gardens and wells to take care of the strange creatures. They also need some form of entertainment as Drakes can apparently die from boredom.

No new launch date has been given for Drake Hollow. We recently picked up the Drake Hollow achievement list.
