Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition rated in Brazil — release could be imminent

By Sean Carey,
Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition on PC could be launching soon. The game has recently been rated in Brazil with a listing discovered for the game over on the country's rating board.

Age of Empires 3

Definitive Editions for both Age of Empires II and Age of Empires III were first announced back in 2017. Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition underwent a closed beta earlier in the year, but other than that, we haven't heard much. The screenshot below (via Resetera) shows that the game was rated on July 9th for PC. When a game receives an age rating, it generally means that it's close to release.

A rating for the seemingly dormant Battletoads was also spotted on the Brazillian rating board last week. We could potentially hear more on both of these titles during the Xbox 20/20 first-party games showcase taking place on July 23rd.

When Age of Empires III: Definitive Edtion does eventually launch, the game will be coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC.
