Here is every announcement from July's Xbox Games Showcase

The Xbox Games Showcase was a big one. We had a bunch of world premieres for upcoming Xbox Series X games, updates on already announced games and more. We also saw gameplay footage for Halo Infinite for the first time, and a new Fable title was officially unveiled. Here is every announcement from July's Xbox 20/20.

Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age


The first game of the night was announced during the pre-show. For the first time ever, a Dragon Quest game is coming to Xbox. Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition is coming to Xbox One on December 4th and is playable in Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC.

Exomecha


Exomecha is coming to Xbox Series X and Xbox One in 2021 and is a free to play game that features giant sword fighting mechs.

Watch Dogs: Legion


Watch Dogs: Legion got a new "Resistance" trailer. Watch Dogs: Legion comes to Xbox One on October 29th and Xbox Series X at a later date.

Echo Generation


Developed by Cococucumber, Echo Generation is a turn-based adventure game about a gang of kids who are investigating supernatural events. It all feels very Stranger Things. Echo Generation is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC in 2021.

Hello Neighbor 2


A sequel to the popular Hello Neighbor was announced by tinyBuild. Hello Neighbor 2 takes place directly after the events of the original. This time around, The Neighbor has gone missing. Hello Neighbor 2 is coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC in 2021.

ID@XboxConsole Launch Exclusives Optimized for Series X


Xbox then revealed a bunch of ID@Xbox games all optimized for Xbox Series X. 15 games were announced in the video; you can check out more over on Xbox Wire.

Balan Wonderworld


Balan Wonderworld from Square Enix is an action platformer themed around the Balan Theatre. Balan Wonderworld is coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series in Spring 2021.

Halo Infinite


We finally got a look at some Halo Infinite gameplay. Around nine minutes of gameplay footage from the campaign was shown. Halo Infinite comes to Xbox Series X, Xbox One and Windows this Holiday.

State of Decay 3


A new entry into the State of Decay series was announced. State of Decay 3 is currently in development and is coming to Xbox Series X and Windows. No release date was given.

Forza Motorsport


Forza Motorsport is in early development for Xbox Series and Windows 10. The game will run at 4K, 60 fps. No release date was given.

Everwild


Everwild received a new trailer that showcased some gorgeous visuals. It's still in development, so no release date was given, but the game will be coming to Xbox Series X and Windows 10.

Tell Me Why


Tell Me Why's first chapter is available on Xbox One on August 27th. The new trailer highlights some of the game's story beats and gives us an idea of what to expect. Tell Me Why will also be playable in Xbox Game Pass.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps


An Xbox Series X version of Ori and the Will of the Wisps is currently in the works. The game will be playable at 120fps thanks to the Xbox Series X's hardware. The optimized Series X version will launch later this year.

The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon DLC


A new DLC for the The Outer Worlds is on the way. Peril on Gorgon releases on Septemeber 9th and will cost $14.99/£11.99.

Grounded


The co-op survival game Grounded received a new gameplay trailer ahead of its launch into Xbox Game Preview next week on July 28th.

Avowed


Avowed is a first-person fantasy RPG from Obsidian Entertainment. No release date was given, but the game has been confirmed for Xbox Series X and Windows 10.

As Dusk Falls


As Dusk Falls is an interactive drama developed by new studio, Interior/night. As Dusk Falls is coming to Xbox Series X and Windows 10. Unfortunately, no release window was shown.

Senua's Saga: Hellblade II


Ninja Theory gave us a brief update on Senua's Saga: Hellblade II. Although there was no gameplay footage shown, the developer diary reveals that the game is set in Iceland.

Psychonauts 2


Double Fine dropped a new gameplay trailer for Psychonauts 2, which featured some 3D platforming action and Jack Black. Psychonauts 2 comes to Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Windows 10 in 2021.

Destiny 2


Destiny 2 is coming to Xbox Game Pass with all of its expansions in September. An Xbox Series X optimized version is also in the works.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2


The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise is making its way to Xbox. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is coming to Xbox Series X and Windows. The survival horror will be playable in Xbox Game Pass on day one of its launch. No release date was given.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide


Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a four-player co-op game and is coming to Xbox Series X in 2021. Darktide will also be playable in Xbox Game Pass.

Tetris Effect Connected


Tetris Effect: Connected features a new co-op mode as well as competitive online and local multiplayer. The puzzle game is coming to Xbox Series X and Xbox One in Holiday 2020.

The Gunk


The Gunk is a third-person adventure game set in an exotic world filled with puzzles and enemies. The Gunk is coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox One and Windows 10 in September 2021.

The Medium


Gameplay footage for The Medium was shown for the first time. The trailer gives us a brief look at the game's two worlds rendered simultaneously. The Medium is coming to Xbox Series X and Windows 10 in Holiday 2020.

New Genesis: Phantasy Star Online 2


Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X in 2021.

CrossfireX


Campaign gameplay for CrossfireX was premiered during the showcase. The first-person shooter's visuals look fantastic. CrossfireX is coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X sometime in 2020.

Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon 4, Gears 5 and more to be optimized for Series X

Forsaken Shores

Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon 4, Gears 5 and Gears Tactics are all receiving the next-gen treatment. All of these titles will be optimized for Xbox Series X in time for Holiday 2020.

Fable


Finally, Microsoft announced that a new Fable game was in the works. Fable is in development by Playground Games and is coming to Xbox Series X and Windows 10.
