In L.A. Noire, when a devastating explosion at the Nicholson Electroplating plant rocks downtown Los Angeles, causing damage for blocks around and tragic innocent casualties, one of the first persons of interest to be interviewed is the plant’s owner, Fred Nicholson. Will shrewd questioning reveal him to be a shocked and grief-riddled man, beside himself over the death and destruction that emanated from his factory? A cold and calculated businessman only mindful of the impact to his interests? Or someone with more to hide? What can he reveal that may lead to the truth behind this disaster?

Also announced were details of the "Title Update 2.0" that was released on Friday, June 17th. The update fixes a couple of glitches, some of which relate directly to some achievements being unobtainable for some people.

• Implemented a handful of physics changes to prevent floating, falling and traveling outside the map.
• Improved crash handling.
• Fixed an issue where a clean installation interrupted by a Title Update would still show a "game data is corrupt and is being repaired" message.
• Fixed an issue that prevented players from getting beyond Rank 19 in certain instances.
The "Nicholson Electroplating" Arson Case will be available to download for free if you have signed up for the Rockstar Pass. If you still haven't purchased the online pass, you have until midnight tonight to purchase it for the reduced price of 800 MSP, with the price rising to 960 MSP tomorrow. The case can also be purchased for 320 MSP as a standalone piece of DLC.
