If you have been looking forward to the release of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, the follow up to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, you may well have been alarmed at the number of delays that have pushed the game back from its originally planned release date, the latest coming only last month, with the news that the game is now scheduled for release Q1 2012.

Well today, Ubisoft may have gone some way to making up for all those delays, with a tweet from the official Ghost Recon page (@GhostRecon) announcing that the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier multiplayer beta will be coming exclusively to Xbox 360 in January.

We know you have been asking about the beta. We're excited to announce that the MP beta will be launching in January 2012!
Full details have yet to be announced, but a follow up tweet a short time later stated that in the US, pre-ordering via GameStop will give you access to the beta and a free upgrade to the Signature Edition of the game.

US Ghosts: Pre-order GRFS at GameStop and receive beta access AND free upgrade to the Signature Edition. SE details coming soon!
You can also apply for beta access on the Ghost Recon website; the link is in the external link below.
