Microsoft clarifies Deathloop and GhostWire: Tokyo PS5 exclusivity deals

By Sean Carey,
In an interview with Bloomberg, Phil Spencer has confirmed that GhostWire: Tokyo and
Deathloop will remain as timed exclusives for the PlayStation 5 despite Microsoft's acquisition of Bethesda.

According to Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, Phil Spencer told journalist Dina Bass that future Bethesda games will come to both Xbox, PC and "other consoles on a case by case basis." It's currently unclear just how long the exclusivity deals for GhostWire: Tokyo and Deathloop are.

It also remains to be seen what games will come to Sony's platform later down the line, despite Microsoft now owning Bethesda and its IP. Games such as Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI could still appear on other consoles, and might not be exclusive to Xbox/PC. Whatever the case may be, it's certainly an exciting time to be an Xbox fan.

Now that Xbox Game Studios has both Obsidian and Bethesda under its umbrella, is anyone else up for Fallout New Vegas 2? We can only dream.
