Football Manager returns to Xbox after more than a decade

By Sean Carey,
It's been a while since a Football Manager title came to Xbox consoles. The last game, Football Manager 2008, was released 12 years ago on the Xbox 360. Now Sega has announced that Football Manager 2021 will be playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows 10.

Football Manager 2021 launches first on PC on November 24th, with the Xbox version coming sometime "before the end of the year." Football Manager 2021 Xbox Edition has been specifically tailored to console and has been modelled on the mobile Touch version of the game. FM21 will also be an Xbox Play Anywhere title, which means purchasing the management sim once grants you access to the game on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Windows 10 PC.

FM21 puts even more focus on the manager role this time around. Players can use new tools to develop their managerial personalities and prowess. Sega says that more about new features and functionality will be unveiled in early November.

Football Manager 2021 launches for PC on November 24th with the Xbox Edition following later in the year.

Thanks to LuckyKant for the news tip.
