NBA 2K21 will be an Xbox Series X|S launch title

By Sean Carey,
2K Games has confirmed that the next-gen version of NBA 2K21 will launch alongside the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on November 10th.

The current-gen version of NBA 2K21 launched earlier this month for Xbox One. Unfortunately, unless you purchased the deluxe Mamba Forever edition, you won't be getting a free upgrade to a next-gen version.

2K says NBA 2K21 is "being built from the ground up for next-gen" and the game will feature "new additions and improvements only possible on PS5 and Xbox Series X." Other than two-second load times, 2K hasn't detailed what these new additions and improvements are, but we expect to hear more soon.

Preorders are live now with an Xbox Series X|S version of NBA 2K21 setting you back $69.99/£64.99.
