TA Playlist is live for October 2020 with Dead Space 2

By The TA Playlist Team,
As we escape the nightmares of the Hundred Years War, the rats and the plague, we charge headfirst into the nightmares and necromorphs of Isaac Clarke in our TA Playlist game for October Dead Space 2.

Dead Space 2 ~ HeroArt

Set three years after the events of the first Dead Space (which was also the game chosen for the TA Playlist in October 2019), you play as Isaac Clarke in his fight against a new necromorph outbreak on the Sprawl, a space station surrounding Saturn's largest moon, Titan. You must solve puzzles to survive and employ "strategic dismemberment" to take down your enemies.

Dead Space 2 holds an equally as impressive 4,49 out of 5.00 rating here on TA. It'll take multiple playthroughs, but can be completed in 20-25 hours, with the DLC taking another couple of hours. Just under 126,000 of you have played it so far, with only 6% of that number completing it. It won the TA Playlist nomination for October with just over 31% of the vote.

Dead Space can currently be found in the EA Play Vault. It was also a Games with Gold offering back in April 2018.

While the walkthrough for the main version of Dead Space 2 is currently being rewritten, you can find the detailed walkthrough for the German version of the game to be useful. This can be found here: Dead Space 2 (DE) Walkthrough

Remember, to participate in the Playlist, all you need to do is earn an achievement in either version of the game in October or post in the relevant forum threads in the TA Playlist Hub to share your feelings, or share your scariest sections in the game.

The TA Playlist is a monthly community event. Everyone votes on which of four games to play, and then we all play through it in the following month. There's a dedicated hub to discuss everything about the game, from story beats to gameplay tips – and of course, you can track your achievement progress during the month as well. TA Playlist was created by Mark Delaney and is now run by Miles, Nici and Chewie.
