Xbox Series X unboxing video appears online a month ahead of launch

By Sean Carey,
The Xbox Series X is a month away from launch, but a YouTuber by the name of Willy Crow has already managed to get their hands on a console and uploaded an unboxing video to YouTube. The video, which is probably breaking all sorts of rules set out by Microsoft, shows just how your Xbox Series X will be packaged.

The video is not the best, but it shows the console itself wrapped in some rather lovely "Power Your Dreams" packaging, with separate compartments at the back of the box for the controller (which our host in the video drops), cables, and documentation.

The video comes soon after an image showing pallets of Xbox Series X retail units was uploaded to Reddit.

Xbox Series X preorders opened on September 22nd, and stock quickly sold out. Microsoft said the demand was "record-breaking" and has since promised that more units will be available at launch on November 10th.
