Xbox Game Pass loses a quick completion and five more titles soon

By Sean Carey,
With seven games announced as coming to Xbox Game Pass soon, sadly, some of the service's older titles will have to make way for these new additions. A total of six games are set to leave both Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC later this month, including a quick completion. Tacoma, Afterparty, Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, Rise & Shine, The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game, and The Red Strings Club are all leaving the service on October 30th — start grabbing those achievements now!

Tacoma Hub

Tacoma is a quick completion that's leaving both Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC. If you're not too bothered about the game's narrative, it will take you between one and two hours to unlock all 12 of Tacoma's achievements. There are quite a few collectables you'll need to find throughout your playthrough, so it's worth following our highly-recommended achievement walkthrough, which details how to unlock every achievement in the game. Tacoma is a Play Anywhere title and shares an achievement list between Xbox One and Windows 10.

Afterparty Achievements

Afterparty is only included in Xbox Game Pass for console and leaves the service on October 30th. The point-and-click takes between 10 and 12 hours to complete, so you should be able to get this one ticked off your list in just a couple of sittings. Out of Afterparty's 23 achievements, 17 of them are missable. Thankfully, we have a fantastic Afterparty walkthrough which will guide you through the game's branching story arcs to unlock each achievement.

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars

A Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars completion will take you between 25 to 30 hours, according to estimates. Nothing too major to shout about with the game's achievement list, other than the Stealth wealth achievement and the Impressive, most impressive achievement being flagged as time-consuming. Again, we have another fantastic achievement walkthrough which will guide you through the process of popping all of this game's 48 achievements.

Rise & Shine

According to estimates, Rise & Shine has a completion time between 12 and 15 hours. Unfortunately, it's not going to be easy. The Indestructible achievement requires you to beat the game on Ironman mode, which means you need to play the game all the way through without dying once. We don't have a walkthrough for Rise & Shine, but we do have plenty of individual achievement guides which should help out if you find yourself at a loss. Rise & Shine leaves Xbox Game Pass for console on October 30th.

The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game

The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game Achievements

The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game is one that you're probably not going to get finished unless you've been making your way through the game's achievement list already. Completion estimates suggest it'll take over 200 hours to unlock every achievement. Achievements such as Pioneer, Executioner, Foe-hammer, and several others all have whopping TA ratios attached, so popping them is going to be a challenge.

Finally, The Red Strings Club, which doesn't support achievements, will drop out of Xbox Game Pass for PC in a couple of weeks too.

All of the games mentioned above will leave Xbox Game Pass on October 30th. This leaves you with a couple of weeks to work through these titles and grab any achievements you might need. If you missed it, Microsoft announced seven more games coming to Xbox Game Pass throughout October.
