Digimon Survive delayed until spring 2021

By Sean Carey,
Unfortunately, it's bad news for all you Digimon fans out there. Bandai Namco has announced that Digimon Survive has been delayed into 2021 due to "current world events" impacting development.

A statement published over on Twitter from Kazumasa Habu, producer of Digimon Survive, thanks fans for their support during development and explains that while the game was scheduled to launch this year, the game has now been pushed back into spring 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Digimon Survive was announced back in 2018 with a 2019 launch window for Xbox One. Sadly, the game never materialised, and with this latest delay, all you Digimon fans will have to wait even longer to get to grips with the tactical RPG.

Digimon Survive comes to Xbox One in spring 2021.

Thanks to Moat Carp for the news tip.
