The Coalition has detailed the new list of achievements included with the Xbox Series X|S update for Gears 5. Five achievements worth a total of 95 Gamerscore will be available to unlock when the update rolls out on November 10th.
Well, we all knew it was going to happen — there's an achievement for completing the campaign on Ironman Mode. This difficulty modifier gives you just one life to play through the game. You'll also need to beat the campaign in Ironman Mode on Experienced difficulty or higher to meet the achievement's requirements. Aside from another achievement that requires you to complete the game on Inconceivable difficulty, the rest of the list is pretty straightforward and shouldn't give you any trouble.
|Name|| Description || Gamerscore|
|Ironed Out||Complete all chapters in Ironman Mode on Experienced difficulty or above||50|
|That’s Inconceivable!||Complete all chapters on Inconceivable difficulty||30|
|Showin’ a little skin||Complete a chapter of Campaign while using a Custom Skin||5|
|Just showing it off||Kill 10 enemies using a weapon with a Custom Skin||5|
|Batista Bomb||Complete all chapters in one Act while Batista as Marcus is enabled||5|
When the new update drops on November 10th, players will be able to swap out grizzled-veteran Marcus Fenix for Dave Bautista and play through the campaign as the wrestler and actor. There's also a bunch of old school mutators coming with the update that lets you turn on things like Big Head mode and Low Gravity Death.
In December, a new story DLC is coming to Gears 5. The Coalition hasn't detailed exactly what the DLC will be about but has revealed that it's called Hivebusters and will be around three to four hours in length.
