TA Playlist is live for November 2020 with BioShock Infinite

By The TA Playlist Team,
It’s time for you to bring us the girl and wipe away the debt. November’s TA Playlist has begun, with BioShock Infinite as the chosen game. We collaborated with the TA and TT Game Info staff teams, who chose the theme and games for the month, with the theme being “Games that Prominently Feature Toilets.”

Bioshock Infinite 2

Bioshock Infinite is a first-person shooter, originally developed by Irrational Games, but remastered and re-released by Blind Squirrel Games as part of the BioShock Collection.

Set in the year 1912, you play as protagonist Booker DeWitt, who is sent to the airborne city of Columbia to find a young woman, Elizabeth, who has been held captive there for most of her life. While doing so, you become embroiled in a war between the two factions in the city, the Founder and the Vox Populi. During this war, you discover the strange powers that Elizabeth has and uncover the dark secrets of the city.

Importantly, there are a number of toilets spread through Columbia, (luckily) and you even have the ability to flush them. Be sure to check each toilet stall too, as you may find some hidden loot. On the note of achievements, completing the 1999 difficulty is certainly a challenge, and there are the usual collectables for the BioShock series that help flesh out the story of Columbia and its inhabitants.

BioShock Infinite is highly rated by the TA community, with an average score of 4.5 out of 5.0. Just over 42,000 of you have played the Xbox One edition, however over 204,000 have played the original Xbox 360 version. It takes roughly 25-30 hours to complete, or 40-50 with the DLC. It won the Playlist vote with 33.76% of the votes. You can play any version of BioShock Infinite, as all versions will count as long as you pop at least one achievement.

If at any point you get stuck, or just want some tips and tricks to get through the game, there is an amazing Bioshock: Infinite walkthrough here on TA written by OldMateClown.

Remember, to participate in the Playlist, all you need to do is earn an achievement in either version of the game in November or post in the relevant forum threads in the TA Playlist Hub to share your feelings or your toilet-based interactions.

The TA Playlist is a monthly community event. Everyone votes on which of four games to play, and then we all play through it in the following month. There's a dedicated hub to discuss everything about the game, from story beats to gameplay tips – and of course, you can track your achievement progress during the month as well. TA Playlist was created by Mark Delaney and is now run by Miles, Nici and Chewie.
