It has been announced by Biart that a 'free to play' shooter is set to arrive on XBLA this summer. Based upon the world of Deep Black, Deep Black Online promises a host of features and focal points:

The unique setting of Deep Black comprises an immersive story line, a complex science-fiction mystery, espionage and bio-terror. The story line runs up in the nearest future in the world of unsteadiness, chaos, terrorism, desperate fight for the world supremacy and possession of sophisticated biological weapons. Exciting game play suggests using dynamically both 3 environments for combats: the land, the underwater and the air.
Biart also offered details on 'fully customisable' character appearance, thirty or more sci-fi weapons and three game modes at launch, each with a tendency toward land, sea and air type gameplay.

Konstantin Popov, CEO of Biart Studios, promised players a rich experience both graphically and in terms of gameplay:

We are using our own multiplatform technology biEngine while developing the Deep Black Online title. A player will have the same graphics quality as in the upcoming single-player game Deep Black. Our company focuses on underwater themes in games and we are planning to demonstrate the full potential of Deep Black franchise in our MMOTPS project.
The title will support between eight and twenty-four players per game session across a range of maps.
