Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Flythrough Trailer

By Keith Gray, 7 years ago
During this year's E3 event, Namco Bandai Games released a trailer and then followed that with a plethora of screenshots for Ace Combat: Assault Horizon.

Obviously, Namco Bandai Games feels that the double-dose of publicity in one week was not enough. So much so, the publisher has now turned on the marketing afterburners (so to speak!) by releasing a "Flythrough" trailer, which lasts no less than... wait for it... 10 minutes!

The press release provides a short description of the action, to soften the landing, for those who cannot view the new trailer.

Players can engage in combat across the globe, dodging skyscrapers, and turning their enemies into fiery supersonic debris. The 10-minute video showcases the exhilarating maneuvering, pinpoint targeting, hovering attacks and other features that the game will bring to the fore this [autumn]/fall.
What the quoted trailer overview doesn't mention is that the new video gives the chance to take another look at the Close Range Assault mode, which has been showcased previously.

As the above quote suggests, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon is scheduled for take-off on October 11th in North America, and October 14th in Europe. There's still no word on a confirmed release date in Australia, but a couple of retailer's websites do suggest that it will be available on the same day as the European release.
