Cyberpunk 2077 gets brief new gameplay footage via a German TV channel

By Heidi Nicholas,
If the wait for Cyberpunk 2077 is getting to be too much, good news: there's just over a minute of new gameplay footage to tide us over, at least until the next Night City Wire episode airs this week.

The gameplay footage was picked up by the Cyberpunk 2077 Countdown Twitter account, which has been faithfully charting the movements of CD Projekt Red's upcoming game for as long as we can remember, and which in turn got the footage from German TV channel Das Erste.

We see some moody shots of Night City and its various factions, as well as Keanu Reeves' Johnny Silverhand sitting with his boots up on a table at a diner with V. We also get a brief look at customisation, during which we even see V's teeth being customised. CDPR had already made it clear that customisation in Cyberpunk 2077 would be extensive, but the fact that you can design V right down to what their teeth look like is another example of the immense level of detail Cyberpunk 2077 promises to bring when it launches next month.

The next Night City Wire episode will focus on Johnny Silverhand. It goes live this week, on November 19th — the same date the game had been intended to launch on, before it was delayed by three weeks into December. Fans have already been speculating about what this choice of date could mean, and since CDPR says it's "going to be a big one," it will definitely be worth tuning in for. We'll be sure to update you with everything we learn from it, and with all other Cyberpunk news we hear in the meantime.
