Xbox Game Pass loses a quick completion and seven more games soon

By Sean Carey,
Microsoft has announced that a total of eight games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC soon, including a quick completion. Wandersong, Dead Island Definitive Edition,
The Escapists 2, Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, Absolver, Demon's Tilt, Faeria, and Hatoful Boyfriend will all leave the service on December 1st.

Wandersong cheat all achievements in an hour

Wandersong is known for being an easy completion and a great game. If you're not interested in following the story, you can complete the musical adventure in less than an hour using the game's scene select. For more on how to bring up the scene select, check out our Wandersong walkthrough. If you're looking to play through the game normally, it should take around 10 hours.

Dead Island Definitive Edition

Dead Island Definitive

Dead Island Definitive Edition is one of the games you'll probably want to prioritise if you haven't already completed it. The tropical island zombie adventure has 58 achievements to unlock with estimates suggesting a 50 to 60 hour completion time. However, the Dead Island Definitive Edition walkthrough we have on-site suggests a much shorter 25 to 35 hour completion time, so it might be worth following this along if you're strapped for time over the next couple of weeks. There are several online achievements that require multiple players in a game, so be sure to set up or join a Gaming Session and work through the achievements with other TA members.

The Escapists 2

The Escapists 2 will be escaping the Game Pass library on December 1st, giving you just under two weeks to grab all of 40 of the game's base achievement list. Looking at the list, there are a fair few achievements tucked away with some pretty hefty ratios, so if you have between 25 and 30 hours spare as completion estimates suggest, you could be in for a somewhat healthy TA score bump at the end of it. Just be wary of the Online Enforcer achievement, which asks you to win ten online versus games. It's probably a good idea to set up a Gaming Session with someone else from TA and work on this one together. We also have a The Escapists 2 walkthrough which will help with all your plotting and breakout needs.

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden

Another casualty set to drop out of Game Pass is Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden with its base achievement list containing 36 achievements for another 1,000 Gamerscore. The achievement list is pretty varied and contains several missable and collectable achievements, so be sure to follow our Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden walkthrough, which will have you completing the game in an estimated 25 to 30 hours. Mutant Year Zero shares an achievement list between the console and PC version and will leave both Game Pass for console and Game Pass for PC on December 1st.

Absolver looks to be one of the toughest completions on this list. The game has 22 achievements worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore and takes between 40 and 50 hours to complete. The Grandmaster, Master of Styles, Worthy Opponents and Getting serious are probably the four achievements that you'll be spending most of your time on if you decide to go for the completion.

Demon's Tilt

Demon's Tilt Achievements

Demon's Tilt is an Xbox Play Anywhere title and will leave both PC and console Game Pass on December 1st. There's nothing too crazy to shout about with the game's achievement list, although some have been flagged as buggy. Some players have also reported that achievements are not unlocking correctly in the PC version of the game. A completion will take between 15 and 30 hours if you're following the Demon's Tilt walkthrough.

Faeria Achievements

Faeria (Win 10) is a collectable card game with 54 achievements worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore. Less than ten players across both the console and PC versions have managed to complete this one, and unfortunately, we don't have an estimated time to complete to offer. As it's a collectable card game, there's probably a significant grind involved. Faeria is leaving Xbox Game Pass for PC on December 1st.

Hatoful Boyfriend, which doesn't support Xbox achievements, will also leave Xbox Game Pass for PC on December 1st.

Star Renegades and River City Girls join Xbox Game Pass tomorrow (November 19th), and Call of the Sea comes to the service in December.
